Some took out loans or used personal funds beyond donations to cover campaign expenses, such as advertising, website design, counseling, social media, signs, and flyers.
Citizens for proven CFISD leaders, a special purpose committee supporting the three election incumbents, John Ogletree, Don Ryan and Bob Covey, has raised nearly $ 18,300 as of October 4. Ogletree and Covey raised an additional $ 6,290 and $ 2,700 respectively.
Position 5 candidate Courtney Spradley has raised $ 13,510 in monetary donations since the start of her campaign, which is more than any other individual candidate.
