Partnership Travel Consulting has appointed Maura Geertsma and Paul Salvatore, former executives of travel management companies, to global leadership roles, continuing a recent wave of expansion for the Cape Coral-based business travel consulting firm, in Florida.
Geertsma has been appointed senior vice president of global business development for PTC. Based in Singapore, Geertsma has over 20 years of business travel experience, including several sales leadership roles at BCD Travel over nearly 15 years with the company.
Salvatore will be senior vice president of global meetings and events for PTC, based in Stamford, Connecticut. He brings to this role over 40 years of industry experience, including a stint as CEO of Robustelli World Travel until TMC was acquired by Hogg Robinson Group in 2006. Following this agreement , Salvatore continued to help lead HRG’s meeting and events activities before advancing to senior business development positions at Altour and Direct Travel.
Earlier this year, PTC hired business travel veterans Bob Brindley and Neil Blaauboer in leadership roles, and in 2020 the consulting firm expanded its presence in the North America, Asia-Pacific and EMEA regions. .
