Financier sues Aircraft Leasing Co. owners over £ 18million loan


Law360, London (June 4, 2020, 6:55 p.m. BST) – European business financier Proventus Capital Partners is suing the husband and wife business owners of an aircraft leasing company for £ 18million (23 million dollars) after allegedly defaulting on their loan agreements.

Proventus, which operates through one of its funds specifically targeting companies in need of expansion and restructuring, said Raymond Eyre and Diana Denholm-Young were at the mercy of the money after agreeing to vouch for a loan to their Montrose business. Global Aircraft Leasing Ltd., according to a High Court claim form that was recently made public.
