The Australian Digital Health Agency says the Gateway, the first phase of a large-scale digital health infrastructure modernization program, will open the door to a simplified, future-ready health ecosystem.

DHA began work on modernizing its national infrastructure in 2019 with stakeholder feedback sessions and announced the tender to replace existing gateway services last November.

The deadline for the delivery of services has been set for September 2021.
ADHA has made the modernization of digital infrastructure its main strategic goal for 2021.
