Crosby Marketing launches $100,000 scholarship program for underrepresented students with Anne Arundel Community College


ANNAPOLIS, Md. (June 8, 2022) – In an effort to create greater opportunities for underrepresented students from diverse backgrounds to pursue further education and future careers in the field of advertising and public relations, Crosby Marketing Communications has created a new scholarship program $100,000 studies for students at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC), one of the premier community colleges.

Every year the Crosby Marketing Fellowship Program will provide four students with a two-year scholarship offering financial support to pursue studies related to marketing, public relations, graphic design, multimedia/video production and web design. Students will also receive ongoing guidance from AACC faculty and will be paired with a Crosby staff member who will provide mentorship and career advice. At the end of a student’s two-year participation in the program, they will be offered a summer internship at Crosby to gain additional experience.

“Our industry has struggled to increase diversity, so we are taking concrete steps to help attract more underrepresented professionals into marketing and advertising,” said Raymond Crosby, President and CEO. of Crosby. “We hope to inspire new talent and important voices that reflect the growing diversity of our country and our community,” noted Crosby, his company has been working for more than a year to establish the collaboration with the AACC, which will begin to identify the first scholarship recipients for enrollment this fall 2022.
