BDO USA acquires Lowery Asset Consulting



BDO USA has acquired Lowery Asset Consulting, a Chicago-based investment advisory firm, which will be integrated into its subsidiary BDO Wealth Advisors.

Lowery’s eight professionals help pension plans, nonprofits and private wealth allocate assets, find and select investment managers, and track performance with detailed reports. The company’s offerings cover financial planning, asset allocation, investment research, portfolio performance monitoring and risk management.

Lowery has deep expertise in traditional and alternative investments, and advises on assets in excess of $ 8 billion.

The company’s eight employees will join BDO Wealth Advisors and move to the BDO office in downtown Chicago. The deal, expected to close this month, will add investment advisory capabilities to 401 (k) plan sponsors and expand BDO Wealth Advisors’ ability to serve insurance companies, private endowments and wealthy individuals.
